WanderCrayon turns a few words about your child and their upcoming trip into a printable coloring book. We ask for as little as possible, we use it only to make and deliver your book, and we never sell it. This page explains exactly what that means.
What we collect
- What you tell us about your child: a first name, an age, and a short written description (hair type, glasses, anything you'd like included).
- Trip details: how they're travelling, the destination and a few landmarks, the moments you want in the story, an optional ride-there moment, and an optional extra detail.
- Your email address, so we can send the finished PDF.
We never ask for (and cannot accept) photos of your child, biometric data, or precise location. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
We use your answers only to generate and deliver your coloring book, to email you the PDF, and to provide support or a refund if you ask for one. At checkout there's a second, optional box, unticked by default: tick it and we'll also send the occasional travel tip and bit of product news. We never make it a condition of your order, and you can unsubscribe in one click, any time.
Who we share it with
We rely on a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf and only to provide their service to us:
- Stripe, to process your payment securely.
- Resend, to deliver your email.
- AI providers (Anthropic and Google), to generate the story text and artwork from the details you provide.
We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
Children's privacy
WanderCrayon is intended for purchase by adults. We don't knowingly collect information directly from children. The description you provide is supplied by you, the grown-up, and is used only to draw a character for the book.
How long we keep it
We keep the details about your child and trip only until your book is delivered, then we delete them. We hold on to your order record (your email and the fact that you bought a book) a little longer, so we can provide support and honour our 30-day refund guarantee, and then we remove that too. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
Your choices
Email us at sales@wandercrayon.com to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about your order, or to unsubscribe from emails. We'll take care of it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to what's needed to make and deliver your book. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we keep the surface small by collecting little and keeping it briefly.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
